Relatively good day as far as environmental work goes. Moderated a panel at the Pop Explosion on how environmental concerns overlap with music business. Panel participants included Kari and Theresa from Clean Nova Scotia (and it really felt right and natural to be on a panel with Kari again. We should have a radio show), Louise Hanavan (who wasn't called 'the chicken lady' ONCE) and Zac Crouse from Caledonia, who was a real firecracker. Really really excellent material and experience from everyone, although Theresa may have overplayed the idling stuff. Still, great attendance, with 30 or more folks there.
Then Maddie and I (and yes, it was insanely gratifying to have Maddie there seeing me on stage) headed to the Climate Change Day of Action. Saw a tonne of people from work and others I know, rallied, and chanted, and Maddie got to play on the playground. Then we headed up to Quinpool and stopped in Freeman's for a nice supper, which we split.
We got Twitches 2 and came home to chill out. Now a nice relaxing evening is ahead of us.
