I saw a vignette downtown at lunch that was straight out of a CJCLDS commercial.
Crappy little black Accent was at a corner of Barrington, being pushed by older guy and young lady. Waiting, waiting, waiting for traffic to clear so they can turn left and get out of the way. As a spot finally opens for the turn, two random men, one looking like a software guru (not sure how to quantify that, but he did) and one with gnarly dreads, swoop into place to push the car. It was like superheroes, the way they swept into action, allowing the man to get in and steer and the girl to not push. The two men didn't know each other, apparently, were headed in opposite directions, and didn't look like they would ordinarily even speak... but they worked with synchronized efficiency. Then they resumed their normal journeys, smiling.
Seeing that was my gift for the day. Nice. Thanks, universe.
