Max Gladwell reveals the intersection of Social Media and Green, that corner I frequent like a eco-streetwalking garrulous trollop. A wee bit navel-gazing, to be sure, but some solid info.
And then there's this... one of those occasional golden internet finds, clearly a labour of devotion and love, and a thoroughly demented mind.

Don't stop at this article, peruse the whole site. Go on, ya know you want to. And can someone order me up one of those "heathen" or "witch" shirts, pls?“We shall pray over the flames as we watch these evil devices go back to the fiery pits of hell from whence they came,” Mrs. Crockett said during her church news conference, adding, "these things are created by Satan for pleasure, and young women are succumbing to the Devil without even realizing it. This is one battle Satan will NOT win!" Her statements drew a standing ovation from the congregation.
All church members are encouraged to join in the BBQ and bring a covered dish as we celebrate yet another Victory over Satan. Marshmallows for roasting over the bonfire will be provided by The Ladies of Landover. Due to the nature of this event, the roasting of hot dogs will be prohibited for obvious reasons.
THIS JUST IN: Nova Scotia is going to have an election, y'all!! Check Halifax Magazine's blog (Halifax Magazine - Editor's Blog : The Ink - http://tinyurl.com/ctozht) for a list of Trevor Adam's top five election issues... he's pretty smart, that Trevor. What are your top five? More importantly (dear diary)... what are mine? Let's assume no politician is going to promise me a pet hedgehog or a vampire of my very own... hm...
- Environment / real action on climate change / better land protection / actual green & energy efficient standards in the provincial building code before 2010
- Support for the arts / music / writers
- Keep on with the high speed plan, implementing across the province (hi, Margaree!!)
- Innovative, creative job creation aligned with our stated sustainability goals (ie, dump the fucking "let's reopen the CB mines" talk)
- A comprehensive vision for healthcare that maximizes efficiencies like using paramedics' downtime, nurse practitioners and midwives.
- Distributed energy plan strongly focussed on efficiency and renewables.
- Provincial ban on cosmetic pesticides.
- Absolutely no nuclear power.
- ELECTORAL REFORM. Some kind of move beyond this 'first past the post' shite.
- What about that hedgehog? Huh?
