So yesterday some guy was arrested at the mall for carrying a machete in his belt. About a year ago some guy was arrested at the same mall (Halifax shopping Centre) for waving around a sword.

Sword. Machete. They sell them in a kiosk in front of the pretzel place, or they used to.

This mall is annexed to the ridiculous fucking pedestrian-unfriendly West End mall. They have started stationing CN cops in this parking lot to harrass the mostly lower-income pedestrians who cross CN property on a well-travelled pedestrian strip, across tracks that at most carry three trains per day.

While I would never wish ill to anyone, I believe it would be humbling to the cop(s) to stop a sword-weilding Jedi wannabe.

but that's just the communist in me speaking.
